in eFootball 2026
There is no guaranteed way to get Legendary players for free in eFootball. Legendary and Epic cards are signed through the Special Player List, packs and campaigns. Your free chances come when Konami puts a pack or contract that can include them into a campaign reward, login bonus, event reward or eFootball Points exchange, so the best you can do is collect every free reward and spend it wisely.
How Legendary and Epic Cards Are Signed
Konami lists six card types. Epic cards celebrate the defining season of big names past and present and have a higher progression ceiling than Legendary. Legendary cards are based on a specific season when a player had a stellar performance, and include retired players with a brilliant career. Both can be developed. The others are Trending, Highlight, Featured and Standard.
All signings happen in the [Contract] menu. The Special Player List is where Konami puts top real-life performers, players from featured leagues and football legends; Konami notes it may not be available in some countries or regions. Packs can contain players, managers and other items. The Standard Player List lets you sign any listed player with GP, but those are standard cards, not Legendaries.
Three contract items can also deliver a player: a Chance Deal signs a random player from a set list, a Nominating Contract lets you pick from a list tailored to it, and a Selection Contract lets you choose from an exclusive list. When one of these comes free from a reward and its list includes Legendary or Epic cards, that is your free Legendary.

Campaign Hub and campaigns
Check firstKonami's Campaign Hub collects the current campaigns in one place, and its theme changes with the current Event. Konami does not fix what each campaign gives, so read the reward list: when a campaign rewards a pack or contract that can contain special players, that is your free chance.

Events and event rewards
Steady rewardsEvents include VS AI matches and user matches. Rewards can include items such as Standard Player Tickets (which sign a random player) and Level Training Programs. Some events favour players that match the event theme, which gives you an advantage in those matches.

Login bonuses and Line Objectives
PassiveLogin bonuses reset at 02:00 UTC each day and can be checked inside Missions since v6.0.0. Line Objectives are a noughts and crosses style board: complete missions in each square, then fill a line for extra Line Rewards. Konami sets up missions for beginners and returning users.

eFootball Points exchanges
Slow but freeeFootball Points can be used to sign players and exchange in-game items. You earn them in game and through out-of-game campaigns. Check the exchange list in game; if a contract or pack that can include special players is on it, Points are a free way to get it.

Konami changes rewards with every campaign and event, so nothing below is fixed. That is also why we do not give timelines or odds.

Making Free Rewards Count
Read before you open. Before using a free contract or pack, check which players it can give. A Selection or Nominating Contract with a Legendary on its list is worth far more than a random ticket, so do not waste it on a player you would never use.
Develop what you have. A well-trained card can outperform a higher-rated one left at level 1. Level players through matches or Level Training Programs, spend Progression Points (you can reset them at any time), and add up to 5 Additional Skills with Skill Training Programs. Some cards also have Boosters that can take certain stats past 99. Our training guide covers this in detail.
Use GP for strong standard cards. GP comes from playing, and the Standard Player List lets you sign any listed player with it. Browsing the player database or the best young players helps you find standard cards worth GP while you wait for a special player.
Play the eFootball League. It pays First-Time Promotion, Phase and Ranking rewards each Phase. See how to reach Division 1 for how those rewards work.
Avoid "Free Legendary" Hacks
Websites, videos and apps that offer free Legendary players through generators, hacks or glitches are scams. Player inventories live on Konami's servers, so these tools cannot add players. What they can do is take your login details or personal information.
Only claim rewards inside the game. Never enter your account details on a third-party site.
Looking at Accounts Instead?
Some players buy an account that already has the cards they want. As of October 2026, the median asking price on eFootball Market was $100. Payment is held in escrow until you confirm the account matches the listing. Note that buying accounts is against Konami's Terms of Use.
