Tier List 2026
The best players in eFootball by Overall rating, taken from the game data dated March 2026. Robert Lewandowski has the highest-rated card at 102, followed by Raphinha at 99. Every player below is placed by his best card using fixed cut-offs: S tier is 97+, A tier is 96, B tier is 95 and C tier is 94.
How This Tier List Works
Most eFootball tier lists are opinions. This one is a ranking you can check. Our source is the eFootball game data file dated 26 March 2026, which holds 40,427 player cards. We remove two placeholder teams, keep only the highest-rated card of each player, and sort by Overall rating. Ties are broken by the card's potential, which is its rating when fully trained.
The tiers use fixed Overall cut-offs, so anyone can reproduce them:
- S tier: best card rated 97 or higher
- A tier: best card rated 96
- B tier: best card rated 95
- C tier: best card rated 94
Overall is a useful filter, not a verdict. It does not capture Playing Style, Additional Skills, Position Proficiency, Boosters or how a player fits your Team Playstyle. A 94-rated player in the right role can be more useful to you than a 97 in the wrong one. Ratings also change as Konami releases new cards, and this list will be rebuilt when we update the data file.

What the Data Shows
The top is very thin. Only one card in the file is rated above 99: Robert Lewandowski at 102, with a potential of 107. Raphinha is alone at 99. Below that the field fills up quickly, with dozens of players at 96 and more than a hundred at 95.
Attackers dominate S tier. Forwards and attacking midfielders take most of the S tier places. The exceptions are Rodri (DMF, 97) and two centre backs, Kim Min-Jae and Ronald Araujo, both at 97.
Big names have many cards. Lionel Messi has 41 cards in the data and Kylian Mbappe has 37. Only the best version counts here, so if you are looking at an account, check which version it holds. Our player pages list every card of a player.
Full-backs and second strikers rate lower. The best LB card is Alphonso Davies at 95, and the best SS is Paulinho at 95. If you need those positions, look at the position pages rather than the overall top 50.

What About a Legendary Players Tier List?
Legendary is a real eFootball card type. On Konami's official overview, a Legendary card is based on a specific season in which a player performed brilliantly, and it includes retired players. Epic cards celebrate the defining season of big names past and present and have a higher progression ceiling than Legendary. Both can be developed.
Our data file has a card-type field, but it is a number with no published key, and we have not been able to confirm which number means Legendary or Epic. So rather than guess, we do not tag any card in this article as Legendary or Epic. Treat any list that does so without a source with caution.
What we can show is how the best cards of classic retired greats compare. None of the players in the table below reaches S tier on Overall: the highest is Johan Cruyff at 93. Several have high potential, though. Pele's best card is rated 89 but has a potential of 106, which is higher than every S tier card except Lewandowski's.

Players are signed through the Contract menu. Special Player List offers have end dates, so a card in this list may not be available to sign today. Once signed, a player's level and Progression Points decide how close he gets to his potential.

Konami itself says the tactics work best with a manager who has high proficiency in your chosen Team Playstyle. Strong cards raise your ceiling; they do not decide matches on their own.
